Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has played all kinds of roles. He is considered a guaranteed hit in the industry. He likes to do a few select films and gives his all for that film. But the failure of one film had a very deep impact on him.
Aamir Khan’s film Laal Singh Chaddha was released in theaters in August 2022. But his film failed to impress the audience. The film barely earned Rs 60 crore at the box office. A year after the release of the film, Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao revealed that the failure of the film had also affected the family.
Recently, in an ABP event, Aamir Khan had expressed his sadness over the failure of his two films at the box office. He had said, ‘I was very sad. I am a very emotional person. Thugs of Hindostan was probably a weak film. I believe that we could not achieve what we had set out to do. But we worked hard for that too. He had said that sometimes winning the hearts of fans on screen is full of challenges.
After this, he talked about his film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Recalling his failure, he said, ‘I think my performance was very difficult. This film was completely dependent on the performance of the lead actor. How great did Tom Hanks do in the real film? He would just take you on a ride but I could not do that. Actually, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is a remake of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Forest Gump’.
Let us tell you that during this time Aamir had told that when his films do not do well, he goes into depression and cries a lot for two to three weeks. It is also necessary to console. “When I was sad, my mother also started trying to stay connected with me. As soon as the film flops, I get a lot of attention.”
