Incidentally, during a basketball match between Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat teams at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the USA, the cheerleaders reportedly danced to the Ghoomar song on January 28, 2018. One of the primary reasons why the fringe group, Shri Rajput Karni Sena, protested against the film, was this song as they believed that it showed the Queen in poor light, bringing dishonour to her name. Well, the fringe group is still continuing with its protests and agitations, but, even after banning the film in four states, the period drama is doing phenomenally well at the Box Office. In five days, the film has already collected Rs 129 crore.
