South superstar, Varun Tej and actress Raashi Khanna, share screen space in Tholi Prema that opened to some phenomenal response on February 9, 2018. Critics and fans seem to have loved this romantic comedy entertainer that has been written and helmed by debutante, Venky Atluri and produced by BVSN Prasad under his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The 2 hour 13 minute long film also stars Sapna Pabbi, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Suhasini Maniratnam, Vidyullekha Raman and Hyper aadhi in pivotal roles.

The story is based on the life of Aadhi (Varun Tej) who is a fun loving guy, extremely focused in his life with his studies and the future. Things get interesting when he falls in love with Varsha (Rashi Khanna) the moment he lays eyes on her during a trip. Unable to meet her right away, the two have a serendipitous encounter in college after a span of six months. Love blooms, however, they are forced to part ways due to an unfortunate incident. Six years later, they cross paths again, and this is when the story takes off. The film has garnered positive responses from fans on the micro-blogging site. The music of Tholi Prema has been composed by S. Thaman, while the cinematography has been done by George C Williams. From the responses that the film has been garnering since it hit the screens, one can fathom the huge fan following that Varun Tej enjoys down South. He made his debut in the industry with the Telugu film, ‘Mukunda’ (2014), helmed by Srikanth Addala, with Pooja Hegde as the lead actress.
