We are in the fifth week and Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif actioner Tiger Zinda Hai is still riding high. After entering the 300 crore club, the film has been on a massive run at the box-office and is achieving new milestones with each passing day. The film has been breaking records one after the other at the box office. Surpassing his previous highest-scoring blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which stood at Rs 320 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai has now bagged Rs 333.58 crore at the box office. This is remarkable as it’s been 31 days for TZH but there seems no sign of ending its theatrical run yet; in fact, the film is still inviting moviegoers. Salman Khan’s film marches on and raked in Rs 1.84 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 333.58 crore at the domestic box office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his micro-blogging site to share the official collections, he tweeted, “#TigerZindaHai showed an UPWARD TREND on Sat and Sun [like previous weeks]. Absence of major films is helping it chase a BIG TOTAL. [Week 5] Fri Rs 79 lakh, Sat Rs 1.20 crore, Sun Rs 1.84 crore. Total: Rs 333.58 crore. Despite the release of Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabbaz and Saif Ali Khan starrer Kaalakaandi, it has not affected Tiger Zinda Hai’s run at the box office. However, we are yet to see if the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh releases this week, does it affect Salman’s film Tiger Zinda Hai’s run at the box office or Salman and Katrina still manage to set the ticket counters ringing with their on-screen chemistry. Speaking of her highest ever grosser, Katrina Kaif had said in a statement, “Tiger Zinda Hai has given all of us so many amazing memories to cherish. From it being Salman‘s biggest hit, Ali’s biggest film, to it also becoming my highest ever grosser – we are extremely happy as a team that the film has done so well,” while Salman had said, ““I hope the industry has many bigger successes this year. It is important that we see more hits, more blockbusters. It will expand our industry, provide more jobs for people and entertain audiences much more.
