Even after entering the 300 crore club, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif actioner Tiger Zinda Hai has been on a massive run at the box-office. Salman’s film, that released on December 22, 2017, is in the fifth week and is still riding high; there seems no sign of ending its theatrical run yet. In fact, the film is still inviting moviegoers. Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai, surpassing his previous highest-scoring blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan which stood at Rs 320 crore, has now bagged Rs 334.88 crore at the box office. Salman – Katrina’s actioner is definitely on a roll; it is achieving new milestones with each passing day, breaking records one after the other at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media handle to share the official collection of this blockbuster movie, he tweeted, “#TigerZindaHai [Week 5] Fri 79 lakhs, Sat 1.20 cr, Sun 1.84 cr, Mon 70 lakhs, Tue 60 lakhs. Total: ₹ 334.88 cr. India biz. Speaking of her highest ever grosser, Katrina Kaif had said in a statement, “Tiger Zinda Hai has given all of us so many amazing memories to cherish. From it being Salman‘s biggest hit, Ali’s biggest film, to it also becoming my highest ever grosser – we are extremely happy as a team that the film has done so well,” while Salman had said, “I hope the industry has many bigger successes this year. It is important that we see more hits, more blockbusters. It will expand our industry, provide more jobs for people and entertain audiences much more. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a sequel to 2012’s blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger which was helmed by Kabir Khan. Besides Salman and Katrina, the film also features Angad Bedi, Girish Karnad, Paresh Rawal, Kumud Mishra and Sajjad Delafrooz in pivotal roles. Tiger Zinda Hai has already crossed the Rs 550 crore mark at the global box office and currently holds the seventh position after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Dangal, PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dhoom 3 in the list of top worldwide grosser of all time.Watch this space for further updates.
