TMKOC Actor Gurucharan Singh Missing: Delhi Police Files FIR in Kidnapping Case; Friend Says Sodhi Was ‘Not Keeping Well’

Gurucharan Singh, known for playing Roshan Singh Sodhi on popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, hasn’t been seen seen since April 22. His father filed a missing person report with the Delhi Police. They’ve started looking into it and registered a case under the law. The team has filed a kidnapping case in this regard.

While police are trying to find Gurucharan aka Sodhi, his close friend Soni has now revealed that the actor was unwell for the last few days and had even undergone a few tests. “His parents are worried and have filed a missing report in Delhi. I tried to file one in Mumbai as well, however, since he hasn’t returned back a complaint cannot be filed here. Gurucharan ji’s health also hasn’t been keeping well for the last many days, so I am worried about that,” Soni told Pinkvilla.

Gurucharan was supposed to fly from Delhi to Mumbai on April 22 but didn’t catch his flight. His phone was active until April 24, and there have been some transactions made with it. In an interview, his father confirmed the situation and said the police are helping with the investigation. They’re hopeful for a quick resolution. “He is mentally stable, and we had been searching for him, but now he has been missing,” Gurucharan’s father told the police.

Gurucharan essayed the role of Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, he quit the show a few years ago. He left TMKOC in 2020.
