Actor Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have returned to their home in Los Angeles after being diagnosed with the coronavirus around two weeks back. The popular Hollywood actor and his wife were tested positive for COVID-19 in Australia and after spending two weeks under isolation first at a hospital and then at their rented place, the duo returned to California on Friday. It was earlier this month that Tom had announced in a post on social media that he had contracted the deadly coronavirus that has infected over six lakh people worldwide with over 27,000 deaths reported so far. In India, there are over 850 confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far with 20 deaths. While announcing the news on Instagram, Tom had written, “We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. Hanks had been shooting for his upcoming film – a biopic on Elvis Presley in which he is playing the role of his manager. The actor kept updating the fans about his health on social media while undergoing treatment at the hospital in Australia. The couple seems all fit and ready to go back to normal life.
