Trending Bollywood News, March 20: Actor Hrithik Roshan is currently busy with the construction of a giant property his family bought a few years ago in Lonavala. A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that around 80 per cent of the work on the property is completed and the interiors are being done now. The sprawling retreat house of the Roshans has a big area dedicated to organic farming which was basically Hrithik’s own idea.

The report mentioned a source close to the family revealing that the superstar has been taking a keen interest in the work which is related to converting a chunk of big land into a separate area for organic farming. “Rakeshji (Rakesh Roshan) regularly visits the site during weekends to check on the progress. Once in a while, Hrithik also drives down to the property. He has shown an active interest in the farm,” he said.

It is believed that while the Roshans were contemplating buying land in either Khandala or Lonavala, it was Hrithik who suggested that instead of acquiring a land just for building another big house, they should be looking out for a land where they can have their own organic farm. And that’s how the family zeroed in on this property.

The 46-year-old actor now owns a land measuring around 5-7 acres on the outskirts of Mumbai. This makes him join the list of other actors who own big properties outside Mumbai for their recreational purposes. While Salman Khan has a beautiful farmhouse in Panvel where he is often seen riding horses and taking some time off after the successful release of his films, Akshay Kumar also owns a villa by the beach in Goa. Ajay Devgn has a farmhouse in Karjat where he cultivates organic fruits and vegetables. Jackie Shroff’s retreat near Pune is around 4400 square-feet where he has also created his own organic garden.
