Arvind’s tweet came in response to SRK’s donation of undisclosed amount in various charitable organisations including the PM CARES Fund, Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) for Healthcare Providers, Ek Saath – the earth foundation, Roti Foundation, The Working People’s Charter and support for acid attack survivors to help fight the war against pandemic COVID-19. Taking to his Twitter handle, King Khan had encouraged fans by stating, “In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u… to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. SRK replied to Arvind humbly but an echo of his famous Bollywood dialogue “main hoon na” (I am there) was unmissable in his tweet. As per the reports, Shah Rukh had contributed Rs 2.5-5cr approximately to PPE, food to 5,500 families which cost Rs 10 crore (with Ek Saath), 3,00,000 Meal Kits which costs Rs 10 crore (with Roti Foundation), essentials and grocery to daily wagers costing Rs 1 crore and Acid Attack Survivor Stipend amounting to Rs 10 lakh per month apart from a separate donation to PM Care and CM Care.
