Actor Ajay Devgn has added another film to the list of his anticipated Hindi movies. The actor will be seen in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Kaithi that released last year with actor Karthi in the lead. The film was received well at the Box Office and now Ajay has decided to spearhead it in Hindi. Apart from being a gangster drama, the film was also about a father-daughter relationship and that’s what attracted Ajay while signing the remake. The actor announced the film on his social media accounts and revealed the release date of the film. Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures and Reliance Entertainment, the Hindi remake of Kaithi will hit the screens on February 12, 2021. While sharing the news of Kaithi remake on Twitter, Ajay wrote, “Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. This is the sixth film in Ajay’s list of upcoming movies. The actor is currently working on Maidaan in which he plays the role of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. He has wrapped up the shooting for Abhishek Dudhaiya’s Bhuj: The Pride of India which is based on Indo-Pak war of 1971. Ajay has got an untitled Luv Ranjan film in his kitty along with Chanakya by Neeraj Pandey. He has a brief role in Sooryavanshi which is releasing next month. Ajay has teamed up with Rohit Shetty for Golmaal 5 and rumours are rife that he has also reunited with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming film Baiju Bawra. Meanwhile, he has a special role in SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Singham 3 can be announced anytime.
