Previously, Dipika had won millions of hearts with her on-screen character Simar and add to that she was a favourite on the reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 7. She even made an appearance with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim on Nach Baliye 8 where he proposed to her for marriage and got married to him this year.

Dipika had maintained her on-screen image of a simpleton throughout her stay inside the Bigg Boss 12 house and kept off any major fights and lived up to her ideal ‘bahu’ image on the show. The actor was even tagged as the most dignified woman by host Salman Khan and not to forget, the actor tried to be the kitchen queen and looked a little insecure when Megha Dhade tried to take over the kitchen.

For some to like it, some will have to hate it and true to that spirit, the show comes to an end.
