Nakuul Mehta aka Shivaay of Ishqbaaz is now donning a new hat on the show. He’s not going to just play a businessman but a true detective. The fans of the show are aware that the plot is going to be turned into a whodunit in the upcoming episodes.
Reportedly, an expected murder has taken place in the Oberoi mansion and our very own Shivaay Singh Oberoi has turned detective to solve the mystery. Talking about this new plot twist and his character turning into a detective, Nakuul said, “I have been a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. I was thrilled when I got to know that I will be playing a similar mystery solver on Ishqbaaaz and I am very happy to play the Indian Sherlock Holmes in the show.”

The actor is one of the most loved faces on small screen. His chemistry with co-star Surbhi Chandna aka Anika is adored by one and all. Just a few days back, his pictures with Surbhi from one of the romantic scenes on the show, went viral on social media. It showed the couple enjoying an intimate dance moment at the masquerade party held at the Oberoi mansion recently.

Nakuul also mentioned how he’s happy that his fans will get to see another shade of his character on the show. He mentioned, “As an actor, it was always my dream to play the popular detective and viewers will soon see me in a never-seen-before avatar of a detective.”
