Kapil Sharma Makes A Comeback On Twitter After Two Months, Will He Return To TV With a Show?

Kapil Sharma returns on Twitter to interact with fans for two hours

Controversy’s favourite child, Kapil Sharma, returned to Twitter after a two-month hiatus. He returned on the micro-blogging site to share the music video of Dr Zeus and announced that he will be having a chat sessions with his fans for about 2 hours. During his chat session, one of his fans asked him about his absence from all social media platforms. Previously, it was reported that the TV host and comedian was undergoing treatment following his social media break down, which pushed him to go on an abusive rant.

Kapil was reportedly being treated for depression but he disclosed that the real reason for his absence from the social media and the public scene was not any treatment, abusive rant or social meltdown. He revealed that he had been “travelling”. For those of you who are not aware of what had happened, let’s tell you so. Kapil Sharma had made an abusive phone call to an entertainment journalist after making his comeback with Family Time With Kapil, which fizzled out even before it could take off like his earlier hit shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Nights With Kapil or even Comedy Circus.

Much to Kapil’s dismay and embarrassment, the journalist in question released his call recording on the internet. Kapil, in return, filed a Rs 100 crore lawsuit against him and the media organisation to which the he was affiliated. Well, take a look at the tweets below.

A fan reached out to the comedian to tell him that he misses him so much that he’s been binging on the old episodes of Comedy Circus, to which Kapil replied, “No problem .. will start something new soon”. Check out the tweet below :
