Krushna Abhishek Praises Kapil Sharma For His Humility And Talent, Reveals ‘Ice Was Broken’ in The First Meeting Itself

Krushna Abhishek talks about his equation with Kapil Sharma after their rivalry.

Comedians Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek have shared rivalry for a long time. However, the two are back now on the same comedy show and Krushna says he has no qualms about it. Talking to a leading daily recently, he said that he observed a few good things about Kapil now that he never knew earlier. Krushna praised Kapil for his humility and honesty. He said he returned to work with Kapil because he thought of it as a good opportunity considering Bharti Singh is also a part of the show.

Krushna talked to DNA and said, “Both of us wanted our shows to be the best and rank high on the charts. Whatever he or I may have said at that time, when my father passed away, he immediately called me. Mera personal equation Kapil ke saath kabhi kharab nahi tha.”

He explained how his equations with Kapil went back to normal the moment he met him before the show. Krushna said, “We have always been respectful of each other. When I was offered The Kapil Sharma Show, I thought Bharti (Singh) bhi hai saath mein, so it will be good. The three of us had done Comedy Circus together and this would be a reunion. I hadn’t met Kapil for a long time, but first meeting mein hi the ice was broken.”

The comedian also stressed on how he takes a dig at himself and his equation with Kapil on The Kapil Sharma Show itself sometimes. Krushna said, “In the first episode we played on our alleged rivalry by saying ‘Main paise ke liye aaya (on Kapil’s show), izzat toh jaati jaati rehti hai‘. In a recent episode, I said, ‘Maine tere liye apna poora character badla‘. The best thing about Kapil is that when I come on stage, he stands up and gives me the chair to sit. He gives so much respect and space, I didn’t know this about him.”
