Sad news for all Karan Patel fans. Karan’s wife Ankita Bhargava, who was expecting her first child in November, has suffered a miscarriage. Ankita, who was four months pregnant, met with this unfortunate incident, a day after the Gold Awards 2018. Ankita’s father and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor Abhay Bhargava confirmed the news to The Times of India, but said he did not wish to comment on it further. Abhay Bhargava also said that Ankita is doing better.

For the unversed, Karan had earlier announced his wife’s pregnancy in the most amusing way. Karan took to his Instagram and shared a picture of him holding several shopping bags, all signalling that the baby is on its way. In the picture, Ankita was seen flaunting her baby bump in a hot green dress while on the phone. Karan gave the pic a goofy look, with the headline, “Yeh Diwali Hogi Babywali.” Earlier while speaking to The Bombay Times, Karan said he plans to have two kids and will spoil the baby silly.

The leading daily quoted the actor, as saying, “It’s sinking in slowly, and I am ecstatic. I can’t go through the emotions and transformations, which Ankita is going through. It’s a beautiful phase for her as she will graduate from a wife to a mother. I plan to spoil our baby silly with love and pampering once he/she is born. We would like to have two kids – both Ankita and I are the only children of our parents and we understand the need for a sibling.” Well, we wish Ankita Bhargava a speedy recovery.
