Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Actor Kavi Kumar Azad Passes Away, Twitterati Deeply Saddened

The popular actor was unwell for three days.

We reported a few minutes ago that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Kavi Kumar Azad is no more. Kavi Kumar who played the very popular Dr Hansraj Haathi in the popular television show passed away following a cardiac arrest. The popular actor was unwell for three days and was rushed to Wockhardt Hospital at Mira Road after he complained of uneasiness. However, the 37-year old actor was declared dead on arrival. Twitterati is deeply saddened by the actor’s sudden loss.

One of the actor’s fans took to Twitter and wrote, “Just heard about #KaviKumarAzad ‘s (aka Dr. Hathi) demise! Shocking! Can’t believe! Condolences to his family & the cast n crew of #TMKOC !” Another one tweeted saying, “May his soul Rest in peace 🙏🏻 He was such a fine actor and always bought a smile on my face with his act! 😀 #KaviKumarAzad you will be thoroughly missed 🙁 ” Fans cannot come to terms to Kavi Kumar Azad’s sudden death. Asit Kumarr Modi, the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah expressed grief after the actor passed away. He said, “We are very sad to inform the loss of our senior actor Kavi Kumar Azad. He was playing the character of Dr Hathi in ‘Taarak Mehta…’. We lost him to a massive cardiac arrest today morning,” He also added,” He was an amazing actor and a very positive person. He truly loved the show and always came for the shoot even if he was not feeling well. He called today morning saying that he is not well and will not be able to come for shoot. And later we got the news that he passed away. We are all too numb to say anything.”
