Twinkle Khanna On Why Taimur, Aaradhya, AbRam, Misha And Other Star Kids’ Parents Need Not Worry About Their Kids Handling Spotlight

Do parents of star kids' need to worry about media tailing them?

Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna has two beautiful kids – Aarav and Nitara – with husband and actor Akshay Kumar. She feels that the current generation of Bollywood is more equipped to handle the glare of the spotlight thanks to social media. “It has become increasingly more difficult to keep our children shielded within our fishbowl existence but I also console myself with the fact that this generation growing up with social media at the forefront is probably more equipped to handle the glare of the spotlight than we were,” Twinkle told IANS when asked how she maintains her kids privacy keeping in mind that so much of scrutiny nowadays is related to star kids.

Be it Suhana and Aryan Khan or Sara Ali Khan or then Twinkle’s own kids, star kids have become everyone’s favourite. And now, we have a younger lot who has ardent following too. Taimur Ali Khan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Misha Kapoor, AbRam Khan have fan clubs dedicated to them. They already have media tailing them whenever they step out and perhaps, they will be better than their older siblings/generation to handle being talked or written about for their every move.

Even though most parents of these star kids’ are not very comfortable with media following their little ones, they know that this comes as a part of being a celebrity kid. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have already decided to send Taimur away to London for school while Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have decided to not let media shutterbugs click their daughter Adira’s pictures and give her a normal childhood. For the longest time, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput didn’t let photogs click pictures of Misha. But now that she is older, they do not mind her being clicked on and off. Somewhere these stars also realise that it is the love and adoration for them, that makes their kids also endearing to their fans.
