Makers of Janhvi Kapoor’s patriotic film ‘Ulajh,‘ have released the teaser of the film. The much-awaited teaser featured Janhvi Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar. Apart from Kapoor, the movie also features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew. The high-paced teaser gives a glimpse of the world of IFS (Indian Foreign Services). Helmed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film will hit big screens on July 5. 

Ulajh Teaser 

Uljah follows the journey of a young diplomat who comes from a renowned family having a patriotic background. The young diplomat, essayed by Janhvi Kapoor, finds herself embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy. The teaser gives a glimpse of Janhvi risking her life and getting involved in some minacious matters, while Gulshan Devaiah’s monologue on loyalty and betrayal for the nation plays in the background.

Fans’ Reaction to Uljah 

Sharing the teaser, Jahnvi wrote, “Enter the world of lies, deceit and betrayals.” As soon as the teaser was shared online, fans spammed the comment section with love and appreciation. While one fan wrote, ”Too good, your body posture and expressions everything is so good.” ”OMG GIRLL YOU NAILED IT!!,” wrote another. A third user commented, ”Baby you’re on fire. Good Luck Jerry, Mili, Bawaal and now Ulajh. 

Earlier, during an interview, Janhvi opened up about the role. The actor, in a statement, said, “When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that.” 

She added, “Just as the name of the film suggests, my character and the story, have so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which are challenging and exciting at the same time. I am thrilled for the audience to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who has such a fresh approach towards dealing with this genre.”

About Ulajh 

The film is written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, whereas the dialogues are given by Atika Chauhan. Apart from Janhvi, the movie also features an ensemble cast including Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. The film will hit your nearby cinemas on July 5, 2024.
