The incident took place when Grimmie was signing autographs for her fans after the concert outside the Plaza Live in Orlando. A male suspect shot her while the members of the band Before You Exit were signing autographs. Christina was rushed to a local hospital after being shot but couldn’t be saved. Her publicist while addressing to the media said,”It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord,” as reported by E! Grimmie was in Adam Levine‘s team on the sixth season of The Voice which aired in 2014. In her blind audition level, she delivered a great performance so much so that she made all the four judges to turn the chair.
