Varun Dhawan And Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga To Release On September 28, 2018

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are set to come together for Yash Raj Film’s next production – Sui Dhaaga. The film will be written and directed by Sharat Katariya, and produced by Maneesh Sharma. A while ago, this fresh project received a release date already. As per the tweet from business analyst, Taran Adarsh, YRF has finalised the date of September 28th, 2018.

Anushka and Varun made the public aware of the project in a fun exchange of tweets where Anushka riddled Varun on the title of the film. Both of the actors expressed their excitement on working with each other in their tweets. Speaking of his second venture with Sharat Katariya, producer Maneesh Sharma said, “After the love and appreciation Dum Laga Ke Haishaa (2015) garnered from the audience, it is very exciting to team up once again with Sharat to tell a heart-warming story of pride and self-reliance. This story finds its roots in the heart of India and reflects the passion that runs through the veins of every single Indian. The film is said to be in line with a government initiative pertaining to the Make In India campaign introduced by PM Narendra Modi. Another film that follows a government campaign is Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which focuses on the ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign. Anushka and Varun’s film will go on floors early in January next year.
