Speculations have been rife about actor Varun Dhawan’s roka ceremony with his long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Reports stated that the couple had a close-knit roka ceremony on Wednesday. Following the picture of Dhawans, dressed in festive outfits, were shared online arriving at the Dalals’ residence together and leaving with gift bags. Late night on Wednesday, Varun Dhawan rubbished the rumours and said that he was there for a birthday party. He shared an article which still reads “roka ceremony was held along with Natasha’s dad’s birthday”. He said it’s a false news, “Hey guys before you let your imagination run wild, it was a birthday party. Wanted to clarify before any false news is spread. Cheers”, tweeted Varun. Natasha Dalal’s father’s birthday party was attended by Varun, David, mom Lali, Rohit, Anjini and Siddharth Dhawan gathered together for a celebration. Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra and Punit Malhotra also arrived at the venue. Both Varun and Natasha’s families were dressed in traditional outfits as they arrived for the occasion.
A few days ago, David Dhawan too denied all the rumours in his latest interaction with IWMBuzz. The filmmaker revealed that there’s no truth to any report being circulated about Varun’s wedding. The senior Dhawan asserted that there are no plans for Varun-Natasha’s wedding yet and the speculations regarding their Goa wedding in summer this year are not true.
Varun is currently busy with the release of his upcoming film Street Dancer 3D. It’s the actor’s first film of the year which is hitting the theatres as the big Republic Day release. Street Dancer 3D features Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi opposite Varun while other dancer-turned-actors Salmaan Yousuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Shashwat Pujari and Raghav Juyal also play important roles.
