Ex-couple Anusha Dandekar and Karan Kundrra are back in the limelight after a resurfaced interview in which Anusha accused Karan of cheating. In response, Karan called her a “cruel elite woman.” Now another clip from Anusha’s podcast has gone viral, in which she can be seen sharing her thoughts on “situationship.”
Explaining what situationship is according to her, Anusha expressed during the podcast, “For me it is like a placeholder, you are warming the seat until the better option comes along. It’s basically like you are filling that gap with a temporary person, using them for your weddings, companionship, travel, birthdays, exciting things, sex, whatever. You are still waiting for that better person to come along. And you can say, ‘This is just a situationship’. And once the better person comes along, then you move the placeholder out and the real relationship begins. That’s what I think is situationship.”

An edited clip of this interview has been widely circulated on social media, leading to backlash from netizens who felt that she had ‘used’ Karan Kundrra. One commented, “I remember the drama she created after breakup lol…. So it was all drama.” Another commented, “Admitting all her relationships were actually situationship for her.. Anusha Dandekar is disgusting.. no respect for any person or relation.”
Another user commented, “It is unfortunate. Most women are exactly like this mindset. How many of you agree?.” One wrote, “Btw she is still using him for fame lol and cleverly puts all the blame and PR on him.”
Anusha Dandekar and Karan Kundrra were reportedly in a relationship from 2016 to 2019, before officially calling it quits in late 2020. Karan has apparently moved on. The actor is in a relationship with Naagin actress Tejasswi Prakash, whom he met on the reality show Bigg Boss 15.
