There is either black or white for Kangana Ranaut. There are no greys for we know that she never shies away from speaking up whenever and wherever it is required. Recently she was walking the ramp, for a brand, and during the media interaction she was asked to comment on the sexual harassment charges that filmmaker Vikas Bahl is facing. She did feel that it was not the right occasion to talk about it, but made sure that she hints at her opinion. “We are here to talk about a brand, but what you mentioned is a serious topic. But whoever faces such situations and speaks up is courageous. Generally speaking, they should be encouraged to talk about it by their family, colleagues. They should not be shamed. Obviously, there will always be another side to the story. But people should speak up, whether it is right or wrong,” she said. Vikas directed Kangana in Queen, which played a major role in changing Kangana’s career. Also Read - Kangana Ranaut Looks Like a Bride Herself at Family Function in a Red Lehenga by Ritu Kumar

Vikas found himself at the centre of allegations of sexual misconduct in the first week of April 2017, when reports started doing the rounds that a female employee at the production house (Phantom Films) had filed a complaint against him, for allegedly molesting her when they were on a trip to Goa. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the employee had approached the human resources department at Phantom with her complaint, and that an inquiry had been launched by a committee as per the Vishakha Guidelines. That’s not it. It was also reported that Bahl might be asked to step down from his role at Phantom, although the filmmaker had denied the allegation.
