Vinod Kambli, once celebrated as a talented Indian cricketer, known for delivering powerful strokes, was a fan favourite during his prime. However, his career took a downturn after surrounded by struggles and controversies. His alcohol addiction and spat with fellow cricketers was one of the reasons why he kept making headlines in the past. But, recently the cricketer is back in news for his deteriorating health. A video went viral that showed Kambli was barely able to talk or walk. Amid several controversies in professional life, his personal life also made quit headlines. Few years back, his wife Andrea Hewitt, accused singer Ankit Tiwari’s father of sexual harassment. According to reports by Mumbai Mirror, in 2018, the cricketer alleged that Raj Kumar Tiwari, tried to touch his wife inappropriately. He stated, “We were at the mall around 3 pm when my wife caught hold of an old man’s hand. When she caught him in the act, he pushed her away. When we were at the food court, two men, who we assume were the man’s sons, tried to attack my wife.”

Ankit Tiwari, who was present at the moment accused the celebrity couple of physically harassing her 59-year-old father. He filed a complaint against Vinod’s wife for beating RK Tiwari with sandals that left his father completely disoriented. Tiwari said, “He couldn’t believe he had been punched, and that a woman was screaming, accusing him of brushing his hand against her. I asked my father to identify the woman, and we realised she was Kambli’s wife.”

Vinod Kambli married receptionist named Noella Lewis in 1998. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last long and the couple decided to part ways. After few years, Kambli fell in love with established fashion model Andrea Hewitt. In 2006, he married Andrea in a private wedding ceremony. Later, the couple became parents to baby boy, Jesus in 2010 and baby girl, Johanna, in 2014.

Everything was hunky-dory until Andrea reportedly filed an FIR against Kambli, accusing him of domestic violence. She stated one of the incidents where Kambli threw a cooking pan at her, due to which she suffered a major head injury. This incident created quit a stir in the media. Following this, Andrea chose to leave Kambli’s home, taking their two children with her. The current state of their relationship is unclear, leaving fans to speculate about the further future of the once-close couple.
