In 2014, Velaiilla Pattadhari became a blockbuster in South and since then there is no looking back for the makers of the film. The Dhanush starrer film is back again with the second part of the film which will be directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 aka VIP 2 has alraedy gine on floors and the fans are already excited for it release. But this time it is not only South ke fans who are excited but also the Bollywood fans are ready for its release. Now before you ponder upon the reason, we are here to tell it you right now. VIP2 will have Kajol in the film and that has made the fans crazy! The director also recently told the fans about her photoshoot with Kajol.
The director of the film, Soundarya recently took the twitter to announce about the Dilwale actress in her film. She recently tweeted that ‘Am so excited and honoured to be working with the KajolAtUN mam in #Vip2…. always been such a big Kajol fan #BackInTamilAfter20years’. On this Kajol tweeted “my pleasure entirely. Lookin forward to doing some awesome work together.”
Now we get to know that the team had a photoshoot with the DDLJ actress and of course Soundarya couldnt stop blushing about it! She today wrote on Twitter, “PhotoShoot with the one and only KajolAtUN mam & our very own #Raghuvaran @dhanushkraja can’t get better than this !!!! #Vip2” She also said that she was super duper excited as this Kajol’s 25th year in the films and her return in Tamil films after 20 years! For those who don’t know, Kajol worked in Tamil movie in 1997 with Arvind Swami ‘Minsara Kanavu’ which was later dubbed in Hind making it a blockbuster called ‘Sapnay’.

Talking about the movie, a source had told Mumbai Mirror, “The film has an The Pursuit of Happyness-theme which will be retained in the second film as well as also “Kolaveri Di” composer, Anirudh Ravichander’s background music. The entire script was shared with her, followed by a narration. Kajol loved the story and has given her nod to the film verbally. However, there are certain date issues but the makers are working their schedule around her and she is expected to sign later this month. They are hoping Kajol comes on board soon.”
Now that it is confirmed that tinsel town’s favourite ‘Anjali’ has finally been roped into the movie we are cannot stop imagining her delivering her power packed performance in Tamil just like she did it in Minsara Kanavu. Also we are hoping that the beautiful photos from the latest photo shoot comes out quickly as we will get to see the glimpse of this star studded collaboration!
