However, an interesting facet of this show is the fees of the contestants, which vary for each housemate, depending on their popularity, experience and fan following.

It goes without saying that their incentives add another layer of competition. While some contestants earn about Rs 5 lakhs, others make about Rs 75,000 in a week. Here’s a list of the top-earning contestants in the current season of Bigg Boss.

Vivian Dsena

Reportedly, the Madhubala actor is earning Rs 5 lakh a week. He is the highest-paid contestant on the show. Needless to mention, he’s one of the most famous television stars and hence, he’s also the highest-earning contestant this season.

Shilpa Shirodkar

The veteran actor has reportedly secured her place as the second-highest-paid celebrity on the show this season. She is earning around Rs 2.5 lakhs a week. Her acting career from the ’80s surely contributes to her character as a contestant.

Karan Veer Mehra

Allegedly, the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner is earning approximately Rs 2 lakh a week as a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. Karan Veer’s success and popularity on his former shows surely contribute to this show, making him the third-highest-paid housemate this season.

Avinash Mishra

Apparently, the Yeh Teri Galiyan actor is being paid around Rs 1.5 lakh a week as a contestant on this show. His fees showcase that he has made a notable impact on the audience from his previous work in the television industry.

Eisha Singh

The actor is also reportedly charging around Rs 1.5 lakh rupees a week. She has worked in shows like Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Ishq Subhan Allah and Sirf Tum.

Alice Kaushik

She is allegedly earning around Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh a week for her time in the BB house. The television actor made her debut with the mythological show, Suryaputra Karna, in 2015.

Rajat Dalal

This fitness influencer is reportedly earning around Rs 1 lakh a week for his stint on Bigg Boss 18. He has a following of 1.1 million on Instagram and 231,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Shrutika Arjun

The former actor is apparently earning between Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh a week in the show. She marked her debut as an actress in 2002, but after two years of acting, she quit the entertainment industry.

Bigg Boss 18 airs on weekdays at 10 PM, while on Saturdays and Sundays, they are scheduled for 9:30 PM.
