Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s spy thriller War 2 continues to witness a sharp dip in its box office numbers after it entered the second and third week. Following the blockbuster opening fueled by the Independence day weekend, the film has experienced a significant drop in its weekday collections. Despite being a major YRF Spy Universe release, War 2 appears to be running out of momentum.
Although the film witnessed its first major fall, where the movie raked in just Rs 65 lakh across all languages, it showed some growth on Saturday. According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, War 2 saw saw a rise of 47.69 per cent, earning Rs 1.10 crore on its 17th day. This bring its total domestic collection to Rs 233 crore.

According to IMDb, the film’s synopsis reads: “Things get complicated when Kabir Dhaliwal, a secret agent, is accused of betraying his nation and his former batchmate Vikram is assigned the task of finding him.”
