SRK did many shows like Fauji, Circus, Doosra Keval and Dil Dariya among others before debuting in Bollywood and ruling the hearts of the audience with that signature arm pose. Now, Doordarshan seems to be cashing in on the same popularity of SRK by telecasting Circus again from tonight on DD National at 8 pm. The decision has been made citing the suspension of the shoots due to which no new episodes are being aired and also, to encourage the viewers to stay indoors as India experiences lockdown to fight the growing coronavirus pandemic. For ardent Shah Rukh Khan fans, it seems like a double treat because their favourite star is anyway not appearing on the screen anytime soon. At least, that’s what he has maintained so far, therefore, watching SRK in Circus is a good and much-required throwback for his fans.
Circus was a 19-episodes series that aired in the year 1989. SRK was seen in the lead playing the role of a man named Shekharan. Apart from Circus, Rajat Kapoor’s Byomkesh Bakshi is also set to return to the TV screens. Watch out!
