If there is one Bollywood actor who is highly disciplined, it’s definitely Akshay Kumar. The superstar has a number of films lined up with Padman releasing on January 26 and 2.0 releasing in April. The actor is to also star in Gold opposite TV actress Mouni Roy who is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with the movie. The actor had been busy shooting for the film but if his latest tweet is to believed then the actor has wrapped up the shoot of Gold. Yes, trust the actor to start and wrap up films on time despite his hectic schedule. Hence, we laud him for his commitment to his work and discipline towards life. The actor recently took to Twitter to break the news.
He shared a video of him doing a sommersault on a wooden chair against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset at a beach. The 50-year-old actor is seen wearing a dhoti and kurta while doing the flip. He captioned it, “A good beginning makes a good ending…true story It’s a wrap for #GOLD, an incredible journey with a great team. See you at the movies”. On his birthday, September 9 this year, the actor took to his social media accounts to share the first poster of the film. Akshay is seen looking intense and donning a formal look in the poster with the photo of the Olympic gold medal in it. The tagline of the film says, “The dream that united a nation”. The film is after all, a biopic based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh Sr., who was on the team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948. At the time of sharing the poster, he had written, “Every cloud has a silver lining bt with ur love my clouds got a lining of Gold!As my age #TurnsGold, here’s the poster of a film close to my heart.” True to his word, the actor wrapped up his schedule for the film in time before heading out for a family vacation to South Africa on December 22. Once he is back post January 3, 2018 he is expected to get busy with the promotions of Padman.
