Sonu Nigam and his early morning twitter rants have made the social media users crazy. As soon as Sonu posted the controversial religious tweets over the sound of Azaan, he was all dragged into the abuses and hate tweets by those who found it offensive. However, some of them came in support of Sonu’s rant. But here comes an interesting throwback video of Priyanka Chopra praising Azaan out of nowhere and fans are again making it a talking point. Contradictory to Sonu’s complain about waking up at Azaan played on a loudspeaker, Priyanka had called it ‘music to the ears’ in her video last year!
While Piggy Chops was in Bhopal last year while shooting Gangaajal 2, she talked about how much she finds the Azaan peaceful. PeeCee excitedly said, ” In Bhopal, the most interesting time of the day is evening when one could hear to the divine Azaan. Post pack up, during the time of sunset, I sit on my terrace here where I can listen to Azaan through a microphone. It can be heard from six Masjids nearby. Well, isn’t this exact opposite of what Sonu said? She even further added, “Those five minutes have a strange peace in it.
