A disturbing incident unfolded during a recent film promotion in Hyderabad when actress Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by a massive crowd. The incident took place on Wednesday, December 17, at the song launch of Sahana Sahana from Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab. Videos from the event quickly went viral, showing the actress struggling to make her way through an unmanaged crowd.
At first, the event appeared to be a routine promotional appearance. However, as the crowd grew uncontrollable, Nidhhi found herself completely surrounded by fans. Her personal space was repeatedly breached, and she looked visibly distressed as she tried to exit the venue. With the help of security personnel and a bouncer, she eventually managed to reach her car after much difficulty.
The song launch was held at a popular mall in Hyderabad and attracted a huge number of fans. The crowd surged as soon as Nidhhi appeared, with many people rushing forward to take selfies and get close to her. Videos from the scene show her being pushed from all sides as security struggled to control the situation. The lack of crowd management raised serious concerns about celebrity safety at public events, especially when permissions and arrangements are inadequate.
Nidhhi Agerwal was born in Hyderabad and raised in Bengaluru in a Hindi-speaking Marwari family. She is fluent in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Her journey into the entertainment industry began with modelling, and she gained attention after participating in Miss Diva Universe 2014.
She made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 2017 film Munna Michael, starring opposite Tiger Shroff. Her entry into Telugu cinema came with Savyasachi (2018), where she starred alongside Naga Chaitanya. She later made her Tamil debut opposite Silambarasan TR in Eeswaran. Nidhhi Agerwal has appeared in films like Mr. Majnu, Hero, and iSmart Shankar. She was also seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu alongside Pawan Kalyan.

Earlier this year, Nidhhi was questioned by the Crime Investigation Department in Hyderabad in connection with an online betting app investigation. She was reportedly asked about promotional pop-up advertisements and was among several actors and influencers named in the probe.
