The Chopra house is officially “shaadi ka ghar” as pre-wedding festivities begin in full flow for Priyanka Chopra’s brother’s marriage. Siddhartha Chopra, the actress’ younger brother, will be tying the knot with Neelam Upadhyaya. The couple first made headlines when they had their roka ceremony in April 2024 followed by the engagement and hastakshar ceremony in August same year. Siddharth Chopra is Chef but her fiancé shares a mutual connect with her sister.

Neelam Upadhyaya hails Mumbai and was born in 1993. Reportedly, she lives with a close-knit family and has two elder siblings who are married.
Upadhyaya is an actress who majorly worked in Tamil and Telugu film industry. She made her debut with Mr 7 in 2012. while her performance was critically acclaimed, the movie failed to leave an impression at the Box Office. Off late, she has been distant from acting. However her most notable movies include – Action 3D, Unnodu Oru Naal, Om Shanti Om – and no, it is not the one with Shah Rukh Khan!
Tracing to the beginning of her career, she made a breakthrough after her portfolio featured on MTV Style Check.

Groom’s sister and our very own Desi Girl recently shared on an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India how her brother and her sister-in-law on a dating app whilst admitting to never using one herself. She said, “I missed out on that one. I needed to meet a real person organically. Maybe I’m old-fashioned that way.” She also expressed her happiness for her brother, adding, “For once, he was grateful for something I did! They’re so cute. I love love.”
The couple’s public appearances sparked dating rumours until it was made official. The couple often share quality time moments on their social media.
Priyanka Chopra, super excited sister of the groom as she must be, flew down from USA with her in-laws and daughter Malti Marie Jonas. In a viral video she was seen leaving the the house for ‘Mata Chowki’ to commence the wedding festivities on an auspicious note.
