Whoa! Priyanka Chopra lashes out at troller Seth Meyers

Priyanka Chopra, this name is going global these days due to her show Quantico. The actress has proved her mettle in the international show and was heavily praised by the audience all across the globe. What made news was her suddenly changed accent in Quantico. Priyanka was seen speaking fluently in the US series with the American accent and her fans took a bit of time to gasp the fact. She took efforts to learn the accent and tried to showcase it through her mind blowing performance in Quantico. Piggy Chops however had some trolls waiting on her way about her newly donned accent. She was criticized by some people calling her ‘fake accent’. Priyanka mostly chose not responding to it and keep giving her best through her performance.

The trolls stopped for a while until this recent show where PeeCee was again the prey of the same ‘fake’ accent troll. But wait! This time it wasn’t the audience that pulled her down, but host Seth Meyers who invited her on his show. Seth Meyers said, ““Obviously on the show you’ve an American accent, but what we’re hearing now is put on. It’s a fraud.” Priyanka Chopra who is well- known for her will power addressed it with a bang saying, “This is my fake accent, my Indian accent I know.”

Seth did not stop with it. He further asked her a pricky question, “But I heard you had trouble with certain words in American accent?” The Chopra then smartly said that “Words and phrases. So I’ve come to the conclusion that there are lot of phrases in America which are meant to just confuse people who come from outside.” The host couldn’t help but agree with PC when she shared her personal experience on the issue.  She humbly accepted that she had to work on some American phrases especially on the pronunciation of ‘R’.  Giving an example on the same she said, that the she had to learn word terrorism to pronounce as ‘terrism.’ The host was in awe with her anecdotes.
