Why Are The Makers Of Fanney Khan Looking For A Fresh Face To Play Anil Kapoor’s Daughter?

Fanney Khan will go on floors next week.

Actor Anil Kapoor, in his forthcoming film Fanney Khan plays a father to a struggling singer. As the actor had earlier essayed the role Priyanka Chopra‘s  father in Dil Dhadakne Do, this time the producers have decided to not cast any A-list actress for his daughter’s role, but introduce a fresh face to play Anil Kapoor’s daughter. Yes, you heard it right. As the film already features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the film, they do not wish to cast any other A-list actors in the film.

Also, the role is to play an overweight girl, who wishes to becomes as pretty and sexy as Aishwarya. An insider while talking to DNA said, “The team has found a fresh face to play the role of Anil’s daughter. The plot line is about an overweight girl. Her character wants to lose weight and become as beautiful and glamorous as Aishwarya, who plays a singer in the film. It’s an entertaining film that deals with body-shaming.”

The film, Fanney Khan, is touted to be a musical comedy film and is all set to go on floors in September, as per reports. Fanney Khan, which is a remake of the Oscar Nominated Film Everybody’s Famous, is helmed by debutant Atul Manjrekar and is bankrolled by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
