Reports of the Bollywood remake of , The Fault in Our Stars has been doing the rounds for a while. The film was to earlier star Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead, but it was later decided that Sushant Singh Rajput would be replacing him. Once the actor was finalised, the makers were on the look out for the leading lady. There was quite a buzz about who will be seen opposite Sushant in the film and a few actress’ names were being tossed around for the lead role. Now that the film is about to go on floors, makers want to zero in on the lead actress of the film real quick. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Kriti Sanon‘s younger sister, Nupur, is being considered for the concerned role. Apparently, if all goes as planned then Nupur may be seen romancing Sushant in the film that is set to be helmed by Mukesh Chhabra. In one of her earlier interviews, Kriti had revealed that her sister was keen on following her footsteps and working in Bollywood. She had said, “She wants to make it on her own. When I look back, I am proud of my journey, and I am glad that she wants to do it her way.There is nothing that she has been offered as yet. Right now, she is exploring things. She likes singing, and she is also learning acting. She is actually taking workshops of all kinds. I have advised her to take up whatever she wants to. Anyway, if the report does turn out to be true, it would be interesting to see the two share screen space with each other given that Sushant and Nupur’s sister, Kriti are rumoured to be seeing each other in real life. Meanwhile, Sushant is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Chambal alongside Bhumi Pednekar. He is also playing the lead role in Sara Ali Khan’s debut Bollywood film, Kedarnath which is slated to release in December this year. The actor has reportedly finished shooting a major chunk of Kedarnath and his next film, Drive, opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
