Washington, Dec 30: Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street‘ has claimed the top spot in the list of most illegally downloaded film of 2014. According to the Hollywood Reporter, piracy-tracking firm Excipio revealed that Disney’s Oscar winning animated movie ‘Frozen’ was next to the true-life tale of corrupt New York stockbrokers.  Both the films were downloaded around 30 million times by torrent users between 1 January and 23 December 2014.

The Leonardo DiCaprio starrer film had caused controversy due to its sex and drug-taking scenes when it was released in the US. The film was also nominated for best picture at the Oscars.
