This 2-hour 20-minute-long ridiculous film was released in 2008. Kaamal Rashid Khan was in the lead role in the film and he was accompanied by two actresses who had given hit films one after the other before this. These two heroines were Gracy Singh of ‘Lagaan’ and the other was Haasil actress Rishita Bhatt.
This film is ‘Deshdrohi’. The story of this film is based on politics, prostitution, brokerage, and corruption. In which Kamal Rashid Khan is in the role of Raja Yadav. The Mumbai terror attack was mentioned in this film and a political party was targeted. After which it was banned in states including Maharashtra.

This is the only Indian film that has received a rating of 1.2 out of 10 on IMDb. This rating was worse than Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Aag’, ‘Gunday’, and ‘Adipurush’. This film was directed by Jagdish Sharma. The budget of the film was around Rs 3 crores, but as soon as the film was released, it was reduced to Rs 89 lakhs.
The special thing is that even after the film faced tremendous rejection, KRK’s intentions did not cool down. He also announced ‘Deshdrohi 2’ in 2022. Kamal said that this will be a bigger film than the first Deshdrohi. But even after several years of the announcement, there is no information about what development has happened in this film.
