Wow! Prabhas And Rana Daggubati’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Completes A 100-Day Run At The Box Office

After the phenomenal success of Dangal, Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 is slated to release in China in September, this year.

Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is indeed the biggest blockbuster in the Indian film history. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the highly-talked about film had released on April 28 to an outstanding response from its fans. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had a record breaking opening on its first day, minting over Rs 100 crore, has created box-office history; it completed 100 days in theatres, on Friday. Isn’t that an amazing news?

Prabhas’ film had become the highest grossing film domestically, and was the first Indian film to gross Rs 1000 crore at the box office globally, until Aamir Khan‘s Dangal, which opened to an outstanding reception in China. As per trade reports, Baahubali 2 has earned Rs 1700 crore worldwide. After the phenomenal success of Dangal, Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is slated to release in China in September, this year. Besides Prabhas and Rana, the film features Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Baahubali’s official Twitter handle took to social media to announce the good news and has unveiled a new poster from the film. The caption read, “A Twitter DP for all our fans, on the eve of #100DaysOfBaahubali2 !”

Also, Bollywood director Karan Johar took to share the news with his fans and followers.  He too, tweeted about the film’s achievement, he wrote, “The VICTORY march of this EPIC continues….#100DaysOfBaahubali2 @ssrajamouli @Shobu_ @RanaDaggubati #Prabhas #Prasad”

Well, hasn’t it been a really long time that a movie had a success run of 100 days ? While many movies end its run within a month or two, we have Baahunali 2: The Conclusion, being one such movie that manages to recover the money in the very first weekend. Though there have been recent releases of Bollywood superstars’ big budget movies like Salman Khan’s Tubelight, Arjun Kapoor’s Mubarakan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal, nothing could affect Prabhas’ Baahubali 2. Hatoff!
