Yash Raj Films Fires Ashish Patil Post Sexual Harassment Allegations Against Him
Yash Raj Films has fired Ashish Patil following sexual harassment allegations against him.
Yash Raj Films, one of the largest production houses of the country, has fired Ashish Patil, vice president, Brand Partnerships and Talent Management and Business, and creative head following sexual harassment allegations against him. In an official statement, the studio has shown its support to the ongoing #MeToo movement informing that it has terminated Patil’s services with immediate effect.
An aspiring actress accused Ashish of sexual harassment on the pretext of offering her work at YRF. The official statement released by the production house reads, “Yash Raj Films terminates the services of Mr Ashish Patil: Vice President- Brand Partnerships and Talent Management and Business and Creative Head- Y-Films, with immediate effect.”

After the allegations surfaced, Yash Raj Films ordered an enquiry on the matter.
On a related note, Yash Raj Films has bankrolled Thugs of Hindostan. The movie featuring Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, is all set to hit the screens on November 8.
Recently, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan came out in support of survivors. He said, “The only defence they have is “Why so late ?” It is better late than never. You don’t have to wait for the result, you have already won great public support. Aadmi pahad se gir kar khadda ho sakta hai…apni nazron se girkar nahin.”

Akshay supported the movement and requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shooting amid allegations against Nana and Sajid. Hrithik Roshan requested the producers of his upcoming film, Super 30, to take strict actions against Vikas Bahl.
