‘Ye Bishnoi Ko Khatam Kar Dege…’ – Maha CM Eknath Shinde Meets Salman Khan & Assures His Family of 100% Security Against ‘Gangs’ – Watch

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde speaks to the media after meeting Salman Khan and his family at the Galaxy Apartment, two days after two men on motorcycle fired four rounds of gun shots outside his residence.

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde on Tuesday met Salman Khan and his entire family amid the investigation in the gun firing case. The CM visited Galaxy Apartment and met Salman and his father Salim Khan to assure them about full protection against attacks like the one that took place on Sunday morning. After visiting his residence in the Bandra area of Mumbai, Shinde also spoke to the media and mentioned that they will not allow any ‘dadagiri’ in the state let alone any attack on citizens.

“I met with Salman Khan and assured him the government is with him. I also directed the police team to take immediate action on this and in that path two of the accused have been arrested. This is Maharashtra, no gang is left here. We will uproot all the gangs and goons. Hooliganism will not be allowed to continue in the state (sic),” he told the media outside Salman’s residence. When asked if Lawrence Bishnoi, who has claimed responsibility for the gunfire at the Galaxy Apartment, is trying to bring the underworld back to Maharashtra, Shinde said his government and Mumbai police will finish the Bishnoi gang and will never let any underworld prosper in the state again. The CM added, “Ye Bishnoi Vishnoi ko khatam kar dege hum (We will finish the Bishnoi gang). The accused arrested are being interrogated. Strict actions will be taken. I have also directed the Police Commissioner to provide security for Salman Khan and his family. It is our duty to take care of our people. I don’t want to comment on what happened in the past government, but we will uproot all the gangs and goons who will try to harm any person of the state (sic).”

Eknath Shinde’s big statement on Salman Khan Gun-firing Case

A video was shared by the news agency ANI in which Shinde was seen meeting Salim and Salman Khan at their residence amid full security. The video showed them having a conversation about the incident as the CM gave his full support and assured the family to not worry or be scared after the incident. “Salman ko kaha hai ki chinta karne ki avashyakta nahi. Sarkar aap ke sath hai. Ye sarkar logon ki sarkar hai. Logon ki hifazat karna humara kaam hai aur hum vo karege. Jo bhi gang isme hain, usko puri tarah se jad se ukhaad ke fekne ka kaam humari police karegi. Puri gang ko mitti me mila dege [I have told Salman there’s nothing to worry about and that the government is with him. This is the people’s government. It is our duty to protect the citizens of our state and we will never stop doing that. We will completely destroy the gang involved in this case. Mumbai police will totally uproot the gang behind this incident],” he concluded.

Shinde’s statements come a few hours after the Mumbai crime branch officials arrested the two shooters involved in the gun-firing incident at Salman’s residence. Maharashtra police nabbed the two shooters from the Bhuj area in Gujarat after closely working with the police of five states – Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Salman’s security has been beefed up after the incident with more police officials now stationed outside his both residences – Galaxy Apartment and Panvel farmhouse.

The actor has reportedly been on top of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list for a few years. The reason behind the enmity is Salman’s blackbuck poaching case in which the actor is accused of killing the animal considered sacred by the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan.
