Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor Karan Patel’s wife Ankita Bhargava is a known name in the small screen industry. Her wedding to the renowned telly actor became a talk of the B-town. The couple is too much in love with each other and often indulge in PDA on social media. The duo is straightforward and vocal in their opinions and ensures to give it back to haters on social media. Off late, it has become a fad for celebrities to get trolled and shamed on social media since they can anonymously carry out their dirty job.
Karan Patel is used to dealing with haters and this time things went out of control when some people crossed and dragged wife Ankita Bhargava into the scene too. The telly actress was slammed for having a darker skin than her husband. However, Ankita was unaffected with all the negativity and decided to shut all shamers like a boss. She was determined to not allow anyone talk anything about her skin and beauty as that person has no right to judge her on any aspect.
Ankita boldly said, “I am not shallow enough to have a complex about my complexion. I am fairer and darker, both at the same time, than most of my friends and colleagues from the industry. As for Karan being fairer, how does that matter. We are not ruled by the British anymore, we are brown, and that’s what we are. Being not so fair by your standards does not make me a lesser person. I am still a decent wife, daughter sister, friend in my opinion and trying to get better with each passing day, learning and growing.” (ALSO READ: Divyanka Tripathi throws tantrums on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein sets; here’s what the TV actress had to say)
A Fan of Karan Patel shared this post on his instagram profile with a beautiful caption that reads, “The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years. – Audrey Hepburn People talk about women empowerment, gender equality, feminism, women’s dignity. By the end of it women themselves don’t respect other women. Isn’t it the irony of life.” (ALSO READ: Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Shocking! Raman & Ishita’s Holi celebrations ruined as Pihu gets kidnapped)
We must say Ankita has hit the right point with her reply. After all, beauty is not all about complexion and it has nothing to do with one’s personality. But it’s an Indian mindset where everyone considers ‘Fair as Lovely’ and which is why most fairness creams companies cash upon Indian market. Do you agree with Ankita’s words?
