The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai makers have finally found a new male lead actor who can replace Karan Mehra, who played the role of Naitik in the show. Actor Karan recently bid adieu to the show due to his serious health issues and the makers has roped in ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh‘ actor Vishal Singh. He was last seen in “Parvarrish Season 1” and is all set to play the role of Naitik in the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ show. In the upcoming episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ the entire Singhania family would be seen visiting Switzerland. In an interview with Tellychakkar.com. a source was quoted saying, “Noted actor Vishal Singh of ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and ‘Parvarrish 1’ fame is all set to step into Karan’s shoes. Though the maker had many names in their mind, finally they roped in Vishal for the meaty role. By the end of August, the entire team will visit Switzerland, where Vishal’s entry will be shot.” ALSO READ: Aw! A source told Bollywood Life, “Vishal is confirmed for the role but he has not signed the contract so far. It should happen in a couple of days. The producer (Rajan Shahi) and Vishal are friends since a long time, and they share an excellent rapport.” Actor Vishal was quoted by the Times of India saying, “It’s too premature to talk as nothing has been told to me. I can’t comment on it.”

A few months back, we heard that the makers of the show were trying their best to bring Karan Mehra back on the show, but now it seems there is no scope of him making a comeback. Apparently, the lead actress Hina Khan who plays the role of Akshara on the show expressed her reservations about romancing a new guy. The gorgeous diva further also refused to play Naitik’s widow in the show and the makers have no choice but to bring Karan back on the show.
