Yodha Box Office Collection Day 7: Sidharth Malhotra’s Film Wraps up First Week With Slow Numbers, Collects Rs 25 Crore
Check detailed box office collection report of Yodha after its first week in India as Sidharth Malhotra's film collects in the range of Rs 25 crore after 7 days.
Yodha box office collection first week update: Yodha has entered its second weekend at the Box Office. The Sidharth Malhotra starrer opened at a mere Rs 4.1 crore last Friday and collected in the range of Rs 25 crore as it finished its first week-run at the ticket window on Thursday. The Dharma Productions film couldn’t impress much at the Box Office and never collected a double-digit on any single day. The highest single-day collection for Yodha was on Sunday when it garnered Rs 7 crore nett after which the numbers only dropped. On Thursday, the film collected in the range of Rs 1-1.85 crore nett, taking the total of seven days to Rs 25.20 crore.
Yodha faced direct competition at the Box office with the already moving ‘Shaitaan‘ and ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story‘. The Adah Sharma starrer posed no threat considering it was outrightly rejected by the audience, Shaitaan continued to remain the audience’s first pick, even after Yodha’s release.
Check Day-Wise Box Office Breakup of Yodha After 7 Days – Nett Collection (sacnilk)
- Friday: Rs 4.1 crore
- Saturday: Rs 5.75 crore
- Sunday: Rs 7 crore
- Monday: Rs 2.15 crore
- Tuesday: Rs 2.25 crore
- Wednesday: Rs 2.1 crore
- Thursday: Rs 1.85 crore (early estimates)
- Total: Rs 25.20 crore
Yodha is expected to now drop further from here. The film will be facing another Box Office clash with Swantatra Veer Savarkar starting today. The film is headed by Randeep Hooda and is expected to do decent business, thereby sharing screens with Yodha in major places. The film might be riding heavily on positive word-of-mouth but its co-presence will make Yodha‘s run difficult at the ticket window.
Meanwhile, it seems like Sidharth will have to rejig his pipeline and look at his choices for a solid Box Office presence. The actor hasn’t yet established himself as a legit crowd puller and a solid script is required for him to aid this attempt. What are your thoughts?
