Small screen couple Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim have impressed viewers with their electrifying chemistry in Sasural Simar Ka. The duo played husband-wife on the screen and their equation was loved by fans immensely. However, Shoaib walked out of the show and Dheeraj Dhopar replaced him as the main lead of the show. Now recently, Dipika also decided to quit the show and is likely to be replaced by a new face.
The real life couple is once again planning to make a comeback together on screen but not as lovers this time. Yes, Dipika and Sohaib will come together but as siblings in Star Plus new show, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. It would be interesting to see how the two lovers will share a very pure bond on the small screen. According to SpotboyE.com’s source, “Star Plus has approached Dipika to essay Shoaib’s sister, who plays ACP Abhimanyu Rathod in Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. The actress is yet to sign on the dotted line, though.”
It is also reported that her character will be introduced in the track later on. When Dipika decided to quit her longest running show, Sasural Simar Ka she openly cited that she took this step to give some time to her personal life. She was quoted saying, “There has come a time where I need time for myself. I am really tired and it has been a really long time. Soon after rumours of the couple participating in the upcoming dance reality show, Nach Baliye 8 started doing rounds. The couple has already given their nod for the show and will be seen showing their dance moves to the world soon. Dipika was then approached by Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai team for her role. So, we wonder if the real reason behind quitting her telly show was to concentrate on personal life or for taking up new offers.
