Mumbai: Zeenat Aman once again proved to be the life coach you never you needed. The actor is known for her impeccable wisdom, especially in matters of life and relationships and her latest post is for couples who aren’t married yet. Aman shared a glimpse of herself and her dog in the new post and wrote about live-in relationships. She advised the young couples to stay together before deciding to get married.
Aman mentioned how she’s often asked about relationship tips and there’s one thing she has recommended to her sons as well. The veteran actor added that if two people can live together and utilise that time to understand each other’s eccentricities, then they should go ahead and take that plunge. A part of her post on Instagram read, “On a different note, one of you asked me about relationship advice in the comments section of my last post. Here’s a personal opinion I haven’t previously shared – if you’re in a relationship, I strongly recommend that you LIVE TOGETHER before getting married (sic)!”
She then revealed that both her sons have had live-in relationships and she has always strongly supported their decisions. Aman went on to explain how living before marriage saves families from the tumultuous struggle of a divorce. “This is the same advice I’ve always given my sons, both of whom have had, or are in, a live-in relationship. It just seems logical to me that before two people get their families and the government involved in their equation, they first put their relationship to the ultimate test (sic),” she wrote.
The actor who has gained a newfound popularity from her thoughtful posts on Instagram highlighted how it’s easy for everyone to be at their best behaviour when they are meeting for a few hours a day while things change when they are living together. Aman said for two people to live together, they have to understand each other’s challenges and follies. “It’s easy to be the best version of yourself for a few hours a day. But can you share a bathroom? Weather the storm of a bad mood? Agree on what to eat for dinner every night? Keep the fire alive in the bedroom? Work through the million tiny conflicts that inevitably arise between two people in close proximity? In short – are you actually compatible (sic)?” she said.

Zeenat Aman is respected for her evolved thinking that resonates with the youth. She ended her post by acknowledging how Indian society wouldn’t be encouraging a live-in relationship. She said people will always have something to say about the way you live but ‘society is uptight about so many things’ and therefore, why pay any heed?
