Anti Valentine’s Day 2020: Love is in the air for first half of February every year. As we all know, Valentine’s Day, a day dedicated to love and lovers, is celebrated on February 14, 2020 across the world. Also, the seven days prior to Valentine’s Day also have special relevance. Starting with Rose Day on February 7 to propose day, teddy day, chocolate day, kiss day and hug day, people in love have an entire week to express their feelings through these special days. While Valentine’s week and Valentine’s Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm by many, there are also people who find the whole exercise futile. They neither believe in the idea of soulmates, nor in concepts such as love, romance or trust. And for them, there exists the ‘Anti-Valentine’s Day Week’!

People who do not wish to celebrate Valentine’s Day may have never believed in these mushy things, while some may have developed a dislike due to a heartbreak. In either case, it is only fair that the world also dedicates a week for those who do not believe in the idea of ‘love’ or rather celebrating love. Nowadays, there are even songs celebrating breakups and motivating a person who has just come out of or is planning to come out of a relationship. And for some, this entire hullabaloo over Valentine, love and PDA is just too much to handle.
