After trouncing defending champions Spain 5-1 Netherlands look to seize a place in knock out stage of the tournament when they clash with Australia in Group B encounter. This will be for the first time two teams square off against each other in the World Cup, here are some other facts
1) The Netherlands have not lost any of their last 11 World Cup group stage matches, having won eight and drawn three.
2) In last nine appearances for Netherlands captain Robin Van Persie has scored 10 goals while attacking midfielder striker Arjen Robben has seven goals in his last seven matches.
3) After scoring against Spain in last match, RVP and Robben both became the first Dutch players to score in three different editions of World Cup.
4) Australia come into the match having won just two of their last 11 World Cup matches.
5) The only European side Australia have beaten in six World Cup matches is Serbia 2-1 in 2010.
6) Tim Cahill is the only Australian to have scored in three World Cups. He also has scored (5) 56% of total of nine World Cup goals by Australia.
7) Australia is unbeaten in their previous three matches against the Dutch, winning one and drawing two.
