With the beginning of FIFA World Cup 2014, Google has been coming up with a colourful special FIFA doodle every day which has so far been a super hit.
Brazil is known for their undying spirit and so are the Brazilian Favelas (slums in Brazil are called Favelas). After the Mexican Wave Ride, saluting the animal oracle – Paul the Octopus; it was Favela’s turn in the line of doodles on Wednesday. The letters of GOOGLE are nicely camouflaged within the colorful slums just like in reality. While the letter ‘L’ seems to be enjoying playing the football.
Playing in Favela against the best of street football players has been a part and parcel of many Brazilian players. Favela and Football go hand-in-hand for the host nation. Football is a passion for Brazilians and more than ten thousand players play professionally around the globe. The Brazilian culture is defined by their celebration of the sport and giving the world skilful players from time to time.
The special Google Doodle should also motivate the host nation who ended up in draw against Mexico with score of 0-0. Australia will take on in-form Netherlands while defending champion Spain will meet Chile in a do-or-die match.
