It was all joy and frolic for England as skipper Harry Kane secured a late winner for the ‘Three Lions’ after a hard fought victory against Tunisia- The fans in the stadium were over the roof and video’s of the English fans having wild celebrations went viral on the internet. It was not just the fans – the England coach, Gareth Southgate was so enthusiastic with his celebrations that he ended up dislocating his shoulder.

“I might not be celebrating any goals as athletically in future!” joked Southgate, who was treated in a nearby hospital with the assistance of team doctor Rob Chakraverty.

“The doc has made it clear that punching the air is not an option.

“We have got such a great support team and they were there very quickly. They were supposed to be relaxing because we let the players have a bit of time off and I am causing them work.

We are lucky we have a top-class medical team around us, so it was fine. I had brilliant help from them, and I am just sorry that I managed to ruin their day off.”

Southgate was back at the base in time to hold a planned meeting with his players before dinner – albeit with his arm in a sling.

“It is better this is me than one of the players,” added the Three Lions boss.

“They were a bit surprised in the team meeting and were asking ‘what have you been doing!?’ – as always, they were probably quite amused.

“It is good that we have had a quiet day today so I had prepared the meeting before and we are on to preparations for Panama.

The Three Lions are next in action on Sunday, when they face Panama at 5:30 PM IST.

Should England win again, Harry Kane will look to keep his celebrations a little muted- he really has no option now.
