2015 Cricket World Cup Day 27: Highlights, Points Table and Schedule for upcoming matches of WC 2015

The Day 27 of 2015 Cricket World Cup had a double header with two Group A clashes, New Zealand-Bangladesh and Australia-Scotland. New Zealand maintained their unbeaten streak in group stage beating Bangladesh by three wickets while England demolished Afghanistan by 9 wickets in a rain marred match. At the end of both matches, New Zealand remained on top of points table, Bangladesh is fourth placed, the eliminated sides England and Afghanistan finished fifth and sixth respectively. Highlights of Day 27 March 13, Match 37: New Zealand manage to brush aside confident Bangladesh side
New Zealand romped home to a three-wicket win to remain unbeaten in the 2015 cricket World Cup but not before being tested and challenged by a spirited Bangladesh in a Pool A encounter at Seddon Park here on Friday. Guided by Mahmudullah’s unbeaten 128, Bangladesh put up a challenging 288/7 in 50 overs at the small ground. In reply, the co-hosts reached home with seven balls to spare with opener Martin Guptill (105) scoring a century to help his side make it six wins in as many matches so far at the quadrennial event. Highlights of Day 27 March 13, Match 38: England dominates Afghanistan in its final outing
Riding on Ian Bell and Alex Hales strong 83-run opening partnership, England chased down a small target of 101 runs easily to register a comfortable 9 wickets victory against Afghanistan via the Duckworth Lewis (D/L) method in an inconsequential cricket World Cup Pool A match at the Sydney Cricket Ground here on Friday. World Cup debutants Afghanistan struggled from the start against the English bowlers. Openers Nawroz Mangal (4) and Javed Ahmadi (7) perished against right-arm seamers James Anderson and chris Broad, respectively. Day 28 Schedule March 14, Match 39: India take on Zimbabwe, aim for 6-0
India, who play their sixth and final Pool B match against Zimbabwe, look all set to maintain their unbeaten record at the 2015 cricket World Cup. Whatever the situation, India have come out with the goods, whether with the bat or ball, to make sure they are one of the favourites going in to the knockouts. Having already qualified for the quarters following their win over the West Indies, the defending champions could have tested their bench strength against Associate member Ireland at Hamilton on Tuesday. The match 39 of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, India vs Zimbabwe takes place at the Eden Park in Auckland. The match starts at 6.30 am IST with live telecast done by Star Sports.
Day 28 Schedule March 14, Match 40: Australia eye another easy win over Scotland
Australia playing their final group stage match against Scotland are quite confident of a win but would take it as an opportunity to improve their game. Aussie skipper Clarke said his main priority for Saturday’s day-night match against Scotland, besides winning, was that he, Shane Watson and James Faulkner get the opportunity to have decent batting stints to aid their preparation for next week’s quarter-final. The match 40 of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Australia vs Scotland takes place at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. The match starts at 9.00 am IST with live telecast done by Star Sports.
